The work I have submitted onto this blog is work I have been producing over the course of my time doing Art Foundation, the collection of images showing faces were from a project looking into expressions, the four faces together are a collection of different drawing styles ranging from upside down drawing to drawing with another person’s hand, ink drawing and storyboard work. The four images which are shown to be in the setting of a kitchen are the start of the pathway projects which focus on Illustration and Animation based around the fairytale “The Black Geese” all of this work was made using a graphics tablet and I decided in the end to make an animation of the skulls in the background to go along with it. This work is based on the work of Jonathan Allardyce as he uses photos and then alters them using Photoshop.
The last pieces of work I have added are the ones entitled “Montana Forbes 1 & 2” they are titled as such because they are done in the style of that particular artist, these images were both produced using Photoshop but also include images taken with a camera and then edited to be placed into the background. The first image is one produced in near the same way one of Montana Forbes is shown, but the second image is one I designed myself, as before these images were also produced primarily using a graphics tablet. The rest of the work shown is a compilation of life drawing and miscellaneous work from earlier projects on the course.
I am interested in this course because I want to further my studies in Animation and Illustration and be able to learn more techniques in ways to develop my work using Photoshop and other applications.
